  Beautiful atmosphere, romantic. Sensational service. Staff is friendly. The food was an experience in excellence. Very upscale.

  Service was great. Food was excellent as well. It is however a little over priced. I get fine dining but the cheapest steak on the menu is $36 and comes with nothing. No mashed potatoes, no salad, no sauce. Just a steak. All sides are seperate. Am always willing to spend money on good food but this is just a bit too much. Two 8oz Canadian AAA steaks, two orders of mashed potatoes, a beer and a cocktail. $136 plus tip.

  The service was good and food was very good. I got the waygu steak it is pricey but worth it. I recommend the cut steakhouse to anyone visting Halifax. One more thing the staff are very knowledgeable.

  When you go here you get more than a great meal, you get a whole experience. The staff is extremely knowledgeable and are on top of their game. The meal, outstanding. The upscale atmosphere was cozy and welcoming. They say you get what you pay for, and this experience is worth every cent.

  First time at CUT and it was fantastic. It's a cozy place with great atmosphere. Staff is very friendly and attentive. Dinner was amazing, highly recommend the tenderloin. We also shared a caesar salad made tableside, a baked potato and mushrooms. Portions on sides are large enough to share. For dessert - cheesecake and it was to die for. This is a pricey spot - I would say more for intimate special occasions rather than a family outing.
