  I witnessed an inexcusable encounter committed by the staff of Good Robot the last time I was there. For a company that openly commits itself to fostering a welcoming, come as you are, non-prejudicial environment I was absolutely shocked to see several staff racially target my friend of a visible minority out of a party of 8 with subjective false accusations to the extent that they asked my friend to leave. Needless to say, this "holistic" brewing company lost many loyal and regular customers that night and word of our experiences have and will continue to travel far. Extremely unimpressed and astonished at the shameful events that took place that, regretfully, unforgettable evening.

  One of the most adventurous craft brew places I have ever been to. Some brews may not be to your taste but the ones that do work for you will be unlike anything else you have tried and worth the experience. Food is by rotating guests and can be pricey for what you get, though this is the only gripe I have. Best part is tgat they are very locally conscious. Many events and showings that they hold are great. A true Halifax experience.

  I've never been a huge fan of Good Robot beers- they're too out there for me usually, and some combinations can be a real miss. However, the location is really lovely, with a spacious outdoor area and a cozy indoor area with enough seats for ~25. Service is great, always offering good conversation. Can't speak about the food, but like I said- the beers are very unique, so you'll either appreciate or despise that.

  Great beers with knowledgeable staff. The sampler flights are worth trying, and they have a very tasty barley wine. The place is very small, so keep that in mind, but it's a great place to go.
