During this period, Barry has consistently and quietly gone the extra mile to ensure that as store owner his first goal is to get us "out on the trail".   Barry and his team have always looked after me exceptionally well, be it a last minute truing or helping with the many bikes purchased. The service is always fast, friendly and knowledgeable. The shop is always professionally clean and organized. You never feel pressured to buy and they will always guide you toward the best gear for your particular need. I even go to their customer appreciation night where you get to eat food and drink craft beer for free!

  Made my first visit to their store back in May 2016 (shortly after they had first opened) to take my bike in for a simple tune-up. A couple other bike shops I’ve dealt with in town often took 3-4 days to complete the job in the past, and the Giant Halifax team had it back to me roughly 24hrs later. It was this great service that kept me coming back and it wasn’t long before I got around to purchasing a new (and long overdue!) bike for myself.

  Almost 2 years later I still can’t say enough about the great service here - Barry and his employees always go above and beyond! A great example was last year, when the front derailleur on one of my bikes died only days before a bike tour. They didn’t have the part in stock and they told me it’d be a few days before they’d receive it. When I informed them of my situation, they called me that later that day to let me know that they were able to get the part elsewhere and that my bike will be ready in time for the tour.
