  Excellent brunch locale; the food is always phenomenal. Their menu is a blend of a rotating section and a static section. They have a unique take on the serving process: you place your order, pay, then they assign you to a table when one is available. Seating is limited so avoid prime brunch time and don't bring a large group as there is not enough space to accommodate (4 max, 2 recommended).

  I was in Sunday to get my Elvis waffle fix. It's my favourite there, the bacon and peanut butter and the maple syrup...oh my!!! I enjoy this place on the weekends most, whoever is making those waffles makes them best on weekends.. Everyone there is extremely nice. One very pretty girl in a hat got me a Latte, laughing and telling me she didn't really know how to make them, but it was the best damn latte I've had and the girls smile brightened my day.

  The Coastal Cafe is one of the best places in Halifax. The food is phenomenal and fun. The plates are made with care and high quality ingredients. Everything is tasty and I have never been disappointed. I will keep going back over and over.

  The process is select your meal, pay for it, get a seat and get your coffee, as appropriate. when it's ready it's dropped off at the table.

  Such amazing flavours and unique menu. I highly recommend if you're looking for Brunch That's not the typical 'eggs, bacon, toast, waffles' . This Place takes brunch to a whole other level. The café is also nice and quaint with friendly staff that definitely work hard. They ensure that you are taken cared of even when they're unbelievably busy. The portions are fairly large and everything is packed with flavour.
