  Usually excellent service yet every now and then you can run into an uncaring and dispassionate nurse who's lack of interest can cause a medical issue to become a compounded problem for a doctor to sort out.

  This is the vg. A hospital with many doctors and services. Many residents eat jello. There are doctors here who can treat cancer and even HIV. A gift shop will sell you overpriced newspapers and there is a Tim Hortons next to the cafeteria but it has very strange hours. Wards are often closed due to flooding. Bring your gumrubbers and an umbrella.

  I have been a patient at the cancer clinic since December of 2015 and have been treated with great kindness and respect. Every person (working there) with whom I have come in contact has been exceptionally professional and caring. The staff at the IWK Women's Health centre, the nurses at the VG. chemo department, the technologists at the radiation centre, the oncologists, the surgeon and their nurses have, without exception, been extremely supportive and careful to protect my dignity. This is especially important when one is feeling vulnerable and scared. Although some of the buildings are old, the staff at the cancer clinic is amazing. Thank you.

  Had surgery recently and had a wonderful experience. Everyone was amazing. Big thanks to the doctors and nurses and all the pre-surgical floor employees. Everyone seemed to make my experience pleasent and the wait time for each step was almost non existent. And a big thanks to Teresa at the gift shop who made my day with her positive attitude and the cool chick who took my blood and made me laugh.
