Very modern and has a good collection of books. Downside is that it's more of a recreational center , with an atrium. It is SO LOUD. Can't get any reading done peacefully. Even the quiet sections has so much traffic because people seem to be constantly on tours or something. Barely anyone has respect for it being a library and speak loudly throughout. You literally need to be locked in a room by yourself or sit on the roof if you want quiet.

Kids area is basically one whole floor and includes a Lego table, Xbox stations and play area.

The only downside is too many smelly vagrants who are using the building as a homeless shelter.

This must be one of the best libraries in North America. They have five floors of books and services and a community-focused mentality in their programming and philosophies.

Stunning building with tons of places to read and work. Great selection of magazines and reliable internet. They also host tons of free events.

The new library is very light and airy, and very pleasant experience. Checking it out on a Sunday afternoon to do some school work while waiting for someone downtown. On the one hand it is great to see it so popular, but within 1/2 hour of opening it is hard to find a quiet area seat.

This place is great to hang out, read, or do a little work. I personally find it a little body, and there isn't quite enough work space, but you can always find something. The discs is dynamic and has some good views. The staff are helpful.
