  They've done a great job! The Halifax explosion exhibit was incredible..I learned so much I was very very impressed. My kids both 16 enjoy the ships and the Titanic exhibition on the second floor. It was worth it! I went there all the way from Chile in South America!

  17 years ago my grade 6 class had a sleep-over here. We had the whole museum to ourselves and the staff was great. Happy to see this place is maintained and still running!

  Hidden treasure. This museum has something for everyone with an interest in seafaring life and Halifax's connection to the sea. I always find both the Titanic, and Halifax explosion exhibits haunting.

  This was a really cool place to go to since I don't live in a maritime region. They have a huge array of artifacts and model ships which are as intricate as they are large. It was also cool to learn about the Halifax explosion, since I don't live in the city.

  Me and my family came here from a cruise, It was a little terrifying seeing stuff from a ship that sank before having to get on one :'( The Halifax explosion got me scared thinking that our ship was going to explode, but it's cool. Items that were actually from the Titanic are there and it's really interesting to see everything :) I wish we had more time to go to the Titanic cemetery.
