A popular beach with lifeguards and plenty of parking. There's always a spot to lay down your towel no matter how busy it appears. We live nearby so it's always a nice short trip to visit but the temperature sometimes can drop quite a bit from what you may find in the city on that particular day.

Beautiful beach. Nice fine white sand. Fairly close to Halifax.

The beach itself is beautiful. Nice sand and lots of room. We arrived around 9 am and we were among the first people there - later in the day it can get very busy. There is also a little lake across the street which is a nice spot for my baby, who is a little too young for waves, to play. The only downside is that there are no garbage cans inside the washrooms, which many women and others who have personal items to dispose of will know is an inconvenience.

Beautiful beach regardless of the time of year! Always lots of big waves and beautiful white sand. This beach has lots of parking and is very busy in the summer. Be sure to check the tide times and arrive early to get the best suntanning spot!! 12/10 would visit again!!
