  Hotel is beautiful. Rooms are nice. A few things I would improve but I still have two nights left. More to come later once I check out.

  I was with a group at the lobby bar. The service was excellent. The seating was comfortable. The appetizers were all very tasty and well prepared. The selection of beers on tap was not huge, but there was a good mix of national brands and local micro breweries. I would recommend this spot to get together with a group of co-workers after work, and definitely a good spot to hang out if you are a guest at the hotel.

  The views of Halifax harbour are also great and the boardwalk is very convenient for a quick walk during a break.

  Very nice hotel. A bit dated but they have tried to keep it updated in the rooms with new vanity and furnishings. But the old hot tub and and older pool show it's age. But all very clean and pleasant. You won't be disappointed staying there.

  BED BUG!!!! The hotel staff were amazing, definitively are warm and welcoming. Unfortunately at 3 am.. I woke up to a bed bug on my bed sheet.. I tried to kill it and it just caused blood to splat all over my pillow :| the hotel attended to my call within 5 minutes of calling them and the hotel staff was really nice and gave me free breakfast and offered to switch my room.. which I appreciate, but now I will have to toss my stuff out and wont be coming back to this hotel...

  I often attend conference style meetings and seminars here. Venue is roomy and beautiful. Staff are professional and attentive. Food and refreshments ts are always fresh, tasty, and we'll presented.
