    I used to work here and there was this cool old guy who looked like Randy Bachman at his fattest that would come in and talk to me about bands from the late 60s.

    Staff are friendly. Usually very quick at the checkouts. Great selection.

    Sobey's is within walking distance and adjacent to my pharmacy. I find that I can get what I want and/or need at a price that fits my budget. The checkout staff have treated me with respect, are very friendly and helpful. The specialty beer and wine shop has knowledgeable staff and reasonably priced product for my gift giving.

    Good store. It was a little hard to find items at first because it is not laid out in the way that a lot of other Sobeys are, but beyond that, it was a nice store.

    Greatest sweet treats in the north end. UPDATE: The sweet treats were not to be beat. Full delcious. Fresh, delicate, hints of unripened peanut (green), in a good way, and vanilla flower. Experience level... TOP NOTCH!
