    The most frustrating part of this, is that CRA wants to review a bit of this accounting work and I have officially asked MAS 7 times !!! for some specifics CRA requires and Barrie has been condescending, unhelpful and passive aggressively withholding my 200$ per hr accounting information I paid him for.

    Don't Bother. MAS will charge a fair bit of money for their services. Barrie will look you in the eye and say 'if you work with me, you will pay zero tax' (i did have to pay tax btw) But who knows? Maybe the 300+ HST per month for a simple 1 person payroll is worth a good accountant.... I certainly thought this monthly retainer went towards the year end accounting as well since the monthly stuff was fairly light, but nope. I received a very handsome bill for my simple year end stuff including the income statements which I did 95% of the work of myself. All told my guess is that they likely made 200$ per hr based on the work involved and how much i paid.
