  Located in the historic properties on the Halifax Waterfront. This is a great place to grab a quick pint, or sit down for a meal (and pints). The staff is friendly and keep your drink refreshed. Gahan brews its own beers, and I have not had a bad one. Aside from the regular selections, there are always one or two seasonal selections. I recently has a sour raspberry wheat beer that was excellent. The food is good, and there are some decent vegetarian options (try the tofu tacos!). The burrito bowl and goat cheese pizza are also a good veggie options.

  Beautiful interior, and had a chance to see someone working with the house beers, which are right in the open for everyone to see. They make a raspberry sour wheat beer, which is incredible, and I wish it was available everywhere in Canada. They had live music, which wasn't too loud, unlike in other places. Definitely will be back.

  Very friendly and attentive staff. Food quality was great and the locRion was very quaint. Could use larger poritions though!

  We had seats outside close to the water. The weather was warm and when it started to get chilly at night they came around with blankets. The service was excellent the beer was really good, it was craft beer. We had some appetizers nachos Etc good portion and the service was quick. Waitresses were always around so you didn't have to wait too long for a refill. Highly recommended we had out-of-town company from the states who also were very impressed with the Gahan house.
