  The Herring Cove Fog is good, the quinoa salad is a perfect afternoon bite. It's nice to sit out on the rooftop during the weekdays with a drink and good company. The espresso drinks can be hit-or-miss depending on the barista.

  I love this place, simple menu which still offers plenty of choice, while supporting local producers. The food is incredibly tasty and I'm always glad to stop here for a bite.

  Stellar view of Halifax from this café on the top floor of the Central Public Library. They offer delicious tea, coffee and soups and sandwiches and great prices. Highly recommend you stop by.

  Nice, pleasant cafe in the main Halifax library. Two areas: one on the ground floor, the other at the top with a small but very nice outdoor seating area that gives a reasonable view of the city. Typical pricing. Selection is a bit more limited than I would have liked. But the food is good and wholesome, and the coffee is quite well made. Great place to get some reflective silence.
