  A very well-put-together grocery store catering to the upper-middle end of the income spectrum. They carry a lot of exotic produce and imported foods you won't find elsewhere, as well as locally sourced meats and veggies. Affordable deli options and a pleasant seating area make it a nice place to stop for lunch as well.

  I love this place. Tons of quality foods and ingredients, super helpful and knowledgeable staff that are willing to help with anything. You can almost always find what you're looking for without help, and they stock almost everything you could need. When it comes to meats and seafood you can always get things fresh, and none of it disappoints.

  Fresh produce, with wide variety of specialty items that you can't find in other stores. An amazing British food section, I have to say British chocolate trumps North American chocolate. The store also doubles as a food cafe, with wonderful salads, sandwiches and fresh soups with quality ingredients.

  I love Pete's. It's like Halifax's version of whole foods. Try the prepared foods and smoothies. Great spot to grab lunch. Also their bread selection is outstanding.

  Absolutely gorgeous grocery store. The staff members I spoke with were friendly and knowledgeable. I'll definitely shop there again (the next time I'm in Halifax)
